Developathon Surge is a nationwide hackathon designed to unlock the potential of tomorrow’s tech leaders. Phase 1 is completely free and open to all, welcoming students, freshers, and developers to submit their most innovative ideas online. The top 100+ teams will earn a spot in an adrenaline-charged 36-hour offline finale, where they’ll build, compete, and pitch their way to victory. With a prize pool worth ₹1 Lac+, incubation opportunities, and nationwide recognition — this is more than a competition. It’s your launchpad to the future.

Phase Wise Explanation
Two Phases, One Epic Journey

Online Phase
Registration opens from 15 April to 30 May 2025, followed by idea submission from 1 June to 30 June. The submitted ideas will undergo an evaluation period from 1 July to 15 July, with results announced on 20 July. Entry is completely free, and the mode is online. Teams of 1–4 members are required to submit an idea with a title, detailed description, a prototype (GitHub link or any valid URL), and an optional video explanation.

Offline Phase
Held in Dehradun in September 2025 (TBA), the top 100+ selected teams from Phase 1 will participate in a 36-hour live hackathon. The entry fee is ₹1200 per team, and the mode is strictly offline. This phase includes live development sessions, sponsor workshops, two evaluation rounds, and networking opportunities. Participants will also receive snacks, lunch, beverages, and accommodation for top 10 teams. Winners walk away with cash prizes, swags, and certificates.
